Als leidenschaftlicher Landschafts-/Naturfotograf, der sich auch immer wieder gerne in ein Abenteuer stürzt, ist es für mich besonders wichtig, dass mein Equipment alles mitmacht und auch unter extremen Bedingungen nicht versagt.
Besonders im Winter war es für mich immer wieder eine Herausforderung mit dickeren Handschuhen die Kamera zu bedienen. Wenn ich die Handschuhe anließ, drückte ich mehrere Knöpfe gleichzeitig und wenn ich sie auszog, verlor ich binnen kürzester Zeit, in blizzardähnlichen Bedingungen, das Gefühl in den Fingern - nun habe ich diese Probleme nicht mehr.
Ich habe mich nach eingehender Recherche für die MERINO LAYER PRO und SHELL FULL LEATHER PRO entschieden. Die Handschuhe konnten auf den ersten Blick gleich mal durch ihre Verarbeitung überzeugen. Das Einzige, dass auch mir auffiel, ist der Reißverschluss auf der Handinnenfläche (SHELL FULL LEATHER PRO) welcher warscheinlich eher mäßig isolieren wird - das könnte dann aber auch mit anderen Layern ausgeglichen werden.
Bis jetzt hatte ich noch nicht die Gelegenheit sie ausführlich in extremeren Bedingungen zu testen, doch wird sich das in näherer Zukunft ändern, wenn ich sie mit auf eine kleine Expedition in die Arktis nehme.

As a passionate landscape-/naturephotographer, who also likes to throw himself into an adventure from time to time, it is very important for me, that my euipment always meets up to my expectations as well as doesn't fail when I need it most.
Especially in winter, it has always been a challenge for me to operate my camera with thick gloves. When I left them on, I pressed more than one button at once and when I took them off, I lost the feeling in my fingers after a little while due to conditions similar to blizzards - now I don't have these problems anymore.
After detailed research, I decided to buy the MERINO LAYER PRO and SHELL FULL LEATHER PRO. At first sight, the look and the way they were manufactured really impressed me. The only thing, that also attracted my attention, was the zipper in the palm on one's hand (SHELL FULL LEATHER PRO), which might not isolate as well as the rest of the gloves - though this could easily be compensated with additional layers.
For now, I wasn't able to test them thoroughly in really extreme conditions but this should change as soon as I take them with me on a small expedition to the arctic.

Die Dinger sind jeden Euro wert. Sehr warm, robust und komplett durchdacht. Da passt einfach alles.

Ihr seid super und eure Produkte, die wir bisher hatten sind spitze, aber eure Bezahlfirma ist sehr kompliziert und Nervenaufreibend.

Glove's main function is to provide warmth. I have used them for skiing purposes. These particular gloves need to improve the following points for them to be truly warm:
1) The zipper line located on the palms from the inside gets cold. Even though the zipper is windproof it still gets cold and you can feel it from the inside of the glove. The solution is to cover the zip line with a pouch from the inside.
2) It would be nice if the inside of the glove would be lined with thick alpaca wool (highest rated warmth retention) so it would be fluffy and cozy inside for your fingers. Now, its too roomy for the fingers and it still needs to be warmer.
3) the zipper head (not zipper line) from the outside on the palms is too obtrusive. Especially when holding skiing sticks the zipper head feels uncomfortably hard. It should have its own little pouch from the outside.
4) use stronger/bigger magnet for the openings. If I put a ski pass in the top zipper pouch, the top of the glove does not attach to the magnet strongly enough.
